Mumagi is a culture created and updated by Dahu Mumagi and friends since 1999... it is an effort of self determination in a global society that wishes to define us in terms of race, class, genre, occupation, religion or culture; and it is also a platform for the growth of creative projects in the realms of Art, Design, Music, Sound and the Written Word... activities collectively known as 'Ar/T/chitecture and MuSound'.
Part of the agenda of Mumagi has been to develop unique languages and themes for all of its realms. As a result Mumagi has its own vocabulary, its own theories and concepts in music, design and philosophy. These are explained in more detail in 'The Mumagi Book'.
Ar/T/chitecture is the design and building of structures in and around our living space-time... macro to micro, tangible and intangible. It is the way you would like things to be and how you will build them. The 'T' in ar/T/chitecture stands for 'Time'; but it is also the end of art... MuSound is space-time defined by colors and rhythms of sound.
Dahu Mumagi produces work, teaches, lectures and performs both solo and in collaboration with people and organisations in his network.
